Very nice! This has a lot of promise. What kind of animal is that anyway? Is it saying Bweet? I like it.
and: you’re misreading what I said about Jessica (I may have to get her on here at some point): her problem with the last strip wasn’t the implausibility of it but that it was unsatisfying as a strip. And anyway, you can’t rule out the relevance of the teacup (or lack thereof) yet, it may force its way into an earlier panel. In fact, if you HAVE ruled it out then you are going about this completely the wrong way!

Yeah I’m guessing I don’t have time (space) to catch all the balls that last panel presented. I’m really concerned about this one…

Oh, I think you can do it! You just have to a) get H and Oswald in a teacup; b) introduce the dolphin; c) figure out what they could be talking about with those colors (I love how ambiguous that last sentence is).
